Categorized by many as a colorist, Killebrew has varied and expanded her subject matter over the years. Her desire is to make art that is pure, simple, honest and unadorned. Art that is an extension of her faith in a creative God who is fully known through Christ. Her aim is not glorify the Creator and call attention to His goodness. Consequently the viewer sees a style that us not elaborate or busy, but one that is simple, bold, fulfilling and honest physical creation.
