California artist Lesley Rich is a colorist who recreates the landscape and figure with lavish brushstrokes and rich color. Rich travels the world to capture people from varied cultures doing simple every day things and enjoying life. She often paints “en plein air” on location and completes a painting in one sitting. Rich has been shown in numerous exhibitions, including the Alla Prima International Shows; Oil Painters of America Invitational Exhibitions; Palette & Chisel Invitationals; and multiple solo shows in galleries across the country and with collectors. Lesley is a member of The Palette & Chisel Academy; Alla Prima International (of which she is a Signature Member); Allied Artists of America, American Artists Professional League, Oil Painters of America, and the California Art Club.
