Fritzi Brod was born June 16, 1900 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Her work is in the New York Public Library and in Vanderpool College. She wrote two books, "200 Motifs and Designs" and "Flowers in Nature and Design." She did a painting for Millikin University, Decatur, IL entitled "Landscape". She was registered in the Federal Art Project in Illinois. She participated in an exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago ("The Room of Chicago Art: Paintings by Fritzi Brod, Joshua Kaganove, Alice Mason and Dan Palumbo Dec.9, 1943-Jan.30, 1944." ). She is mentioned in "Harvest of Freedom - Survey of Jewish Artists in America." She died in 1952.
