Ally Morgan is a contemporary western artist based in Rockville, Maryland whose work explores the intersections of humanity, animality, and spirituality. Through expressive painting and drawing, she weaves symbolic narratives rooted in the natural world, personal memory, and emotional transformation. Morgan earned her B.F.A. in Painting from Salisbury University and her M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting from Arizona State University, where the desert landscape deeply influenced her sense of space, color, andmeditation.Working primarily in gouache, Morgan creates layered compositions that balance precision and spontaneity. Her process embraces symbolism and intuitive mark-making as a way to explore themes of grief, healing, and inner reflection. In addition to her studio practice, Morgan teaches studio art and exhibits nationally.
