Amanda Milz is a fiber artist and art educator living and working in suburban Philadelphia, PA. She utilizes up-cycled and repurposed materials and explores the relationship between traditional quilt-making and contemporary textile applications. Her community work focuses on developing art practices as a source of well-being and creative expression, and utilizing the arts to imagine a better future. Milz’s work has been shown locally and internationally, including at the Painted Bride Art Center, the James Oliver Gallery, the Abington Art Center and the Asian Arts Initiative. Most recently, her work will be featured in the upcoming National Modern Quilt Guild QuiltCon in 2026.
