Born in Kenya, Anna Mein attended Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and received a Fine Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She worked for over a decade as an Art Director in Advertising and Architecture in London and Texas and now resides in California. Years of cross disciplinary creative practice have led to her current body of work that questions the societal context of creative output.
