Annie Jacobsen fell in love with glass while working on her BFA at Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond. She has been working in both the flame shop and the hot shop, as an artist, assistant, and an instructor ever since. She relocated to Asheville to pursue her dreams after receiving a scholarship to Penland School of Craft in 2018. She then went on to work as an artist at Lexington Glassworks, where she was full-time employed for three years. Annie is now happy to be working as a local independent artist and collaborating with other women involved in crafts in WNC.
