Bailey Burton is a self-taught oil painter whose work shows a great fascination with wildlife. Originally from Lansing, Michigan, she earned a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University, where her academic studies helped shape her appreciation for the value of animal life. That foundation continues to shape her artistic vision today, especially in her focus on details and patterns of each animal she paints.Burton’s path to painting began in childhood, but it wasn’t until attending Western Art Week in Great Falls, Montana, in 2021 that she decided to pursue art professionally. Combining her lifelong love for animals with her creative instincts. She participated in her first show, the Legends West Art Show, just months later. Now based in Montana, Burton finds inspiration in the wildlife around her. Her paintings have supported conservation through donations to Trout Unlimited banquets. Each piece is both a technical challenge and a tribute to the wild, driven by the same curiosity and care that have guided her from the start.
