Ben Steele was born in Kennewick, WA in 1977, and received a BFA in painting and drawing from University of Utah in 2002. He has studied and interned with David Dornan and Paul Davis through the Helper Workshops. His work can be found in private collections including Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, sportscaster Dan Patrick, Academy Award-winning film and television producer Michael Sugar, and golfer Fred Couples. Steele's work is in corporate collections including Raymond James Financial, the San Francisco Giants Executive Offices, the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation, and multiple Delta Airline Sky Club lounges throughout the US. Ben Steele lives and works in the small coal and railroad town of Helper, Utah with his wife, Melanie, and their three sons.
