Brandon Lopez is a Mexican American artist creating functional and sculptural work with glass. Originally from Pennsylvania, he first began working with glass at Penland School of Craft in 2013. After Penland, Lopez attended Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia where he received his BFA in glass. Since then, he has assisted classes at craft schools such as Penland, Ox-bow School of Art, Pilchuck Glass School, and worked as an assistant for a number of artists. Lopez recently relocated to Asheville to continue working with glass, focusing on his own work and being a part of the wonderful community of artists in the area.
