Brian Russell creates one of a kind sculptures from cast glass and forged metals. Producing works for both interiors and the landscape on a residential and corporate scale Brian Russell draws inspiration from the rhythms of nature, ancient artifacts, mathematics, science and, ultimately, his imagination. Brian was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee where he graduated as valedictorian. He studied for two years at Oberlin College in Ohio before heading to his home state to attend Rhodes College where he graduated cum laude. He has since created special pieces for his alma mater. Over the next twenty years, Russell continued learning and perfecting his craft. He has collaborated with artists around the world including a short time in New Zealand as a Visiting Foreign Artist. He has since been working as an independent professional studio artist in Arlington, Tennessee where he maintains a studio and sculpture garden. Brian Russell is represented by many galleries including The Marshall Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona.
