Bryce Pettit was born in northern Utah and grew up surrounded by nature and the outdoors. He has always been captivated by nature and the way it inspires him to express it's beauty. Bryce is a lifelong outdoorsman, naturalist, and fisherman. Bryce uses strong lines and sound design principles to express his feelings about the natural world. Bruce studied biology, ecology and art at a graduate level. His expertise in the understanding of biology reflects in the anatomical precision he achieves. He spends many hours observing and experiencing nature in an effort to better understand his subjects and to improve his art. His goal is to depict animal subjects not just as a models, but as dynamic pieces of art that express emotion and feeling with strong composition and design.” Bryce has been a full time sculptor for over fifteen years. He currently resides in Colorado.
