Chala Toprak is a ceramic artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her fashion designer career changed its route after relocating to New York from her hometown Istanbul, Turkey. Her work is a celebration of life inspired by flowers. Coming from a design background using fabric for three dimensional works, she is using clay as a fabric to make her pieces flow as natural as flower petals. At present, she is teaching classes on various platforms and studios. In addition to that, her pieces are represented by Tappan Collective(USA), En Blanco Art Gallery(Mexico) and shown at group shows at Antler Gallery, WACH Hamptons and others.
