CHEKO was born in Lecce in 1977, at the age of thirteen he moved to Milan, the city where he grew up coming into contact with the underground graffiti scene. Not only can his works be admired both in Italy and abroad, but it should also be added that CHEKOS is the founder of Street Art South Italy, a global platform free of street artists that currently lives in 167B STREET (the 167B in Lecce, a popular neighbourhood of social housing), a physical space that is proposed as a constantly changing exhibition center.
