"My work is rooted in cultural exploration, human connection, and a deep respect for indigenous traditions. Through photography, I seek to honor the stories, resilience, and quiet dignity of the communities I encounter, capturing moments that reflect both their individuality and shared humanity. Extensive travel throughout Asia, China, Tibet, Japan, Southeast Asia, Nepal, India, Myanmar, Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, Ukraine, Ecuador, Peru, New Zealand, Australia has shaped my artistic practice. Trekking through remote regions and engaging closely with local cultures has allowed me to move beyond observation toward meaningful exchange. My images are informed by research, patience, and presence, often created in environments where trust and mutual respect are essential. Photography serves as both a creative and philanthropic practice for me. A portion of my work supports the Namaste Children’s Fund, a nonprofit organization that my partner and I co-founded to provide educational opportunities for girls and young women in rural Nepal. This integration of art and social impact reflects my belief that creativity can foster awareness, empathy, and positive change. Ultimately, my work invites viewers to pause, look closely, and consider the interconnectedness of cultures across geographic and social boundaries."~ Cora Edmonds
