Darshana Patel is a mixed-media artist working with ceramics, printmaking, and handcrafted jewelry. Raised in India and later studying at NYU, she began her artistic journey as a way to bridge the gap between her roots and her new life in the United States. Now residing in Scottsdale, Arizona, Patel creates work defined by movement, memory, and emotion, often blending the richness of Indian artistic traditions with the clean restraint of Japanese minimalism. Drawing from cultural artifacts, everyday objects, and the human experience, she transforms simple forms, like bowls and vases, into intentional, sculptural pieces. Her practice reflects her belief that beauty shouldn’t be confined to museums, but integrated seamlessly into daily life.
