Deborah T. Colter is a contemporary abstract artist known for her intricate, layered compositions that blend vibrant colors, textured surfaces, and geometric forms. Her dynamic work invites exploration and introspection, merging structure with spon taneity. Based on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, Deborah has exhibited widely across the U.S. and internationally, earning acclaim for her expressive style. Her creative process is a journey of discovery. She uses mixed mediums, collage, and acrylic polymer paints to build up layers until the composition reaches its final form. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA), her work is held in numerous private and corporate collections, including Adobe Systems, Biogen, J.W. Marriott, and Cisco Systems. Deborah contributed three pieces to the 2015 HGTV Dream Home on Martha’s Vineyard and collaborates regularly with art consultants, designers, and galleries.
