Diane Boone is an established contemporary intuitive artist who creates from a deep well of personal memories, dreams and the quiet magic found in nature. She works fluidly across multiple media—oil, acrylic, and lacquer—utilizing them in richly detailed, evocative compositions. Her work is grounded in the healing power of color and the natural world. There is a creative agility at play in all she produces. Raised in Kansas City, Boone has lived and worked in Venice, Florida since 2015. Her art is informed by principles of color therapy and color theory. For more than 40 years, Boone’s work has been exhibited and collected throughout the United States. Most recently, twelve of her paintings were featured in Season 4 of the Magnolia Network’s television series Bargain Mansions.
