BiographyFrom an early age, I have been interested in art. My father, who was a landscape artist, taught me to take notice of the world around me, always drawing attention to the unusual shapes of rocks and trees and the vibrant colors of sunsets and flowers. My early paintings were mostly landscapes. It was only after many years of classes and experimentation that I discovered the exciting and challenging world of abstract art. For more than thrity years my paintings have shown the use of bold colors and freedom of movement. Most are reminiscent of the unusual shapes and colors of our surroundings.
