Artist StatementErika Stearly is a painter living and working in Pennsylvania. She is represented by several galleries across North America and in recent years, her work has been included in the Superfine! Art Fair in Washington, DC, and at the Affordable Art Fairs in both London and Singapore. She has been featured in Art Seen and Create! Magazine, and interviewed for the “The Complete Smartist Guide,” a guide to running your personal studio practice as a small business. She has served as an artist in residence at various universities, including Penn State University, where she taught undergraduate painting. No longer working in academia, Ms. Stearly makes a living selling paintings to strangers on the internet and works a few hours a week at a local indie bookstore because she enjoys it. Ms. Stearly is currently working on a large-scale painting that will be installed at the Philadelphia International Airport for 2026 - 2027 and a solo exhibition at the Boxheart Gallery in Pittsburgh in late 2026.
