Félix Perdomo was a Venezuelan painter, draftsman and sculptor whose poetic approach to form and colour opened subtle dialogues between reality and memory. He trained at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas Cristóbal Rojas in Caracas (1976–79) and later contributed as a faculty member to the Pedagogical University Institute of Caracas (1980–86). Perdomo’s work is characterised by a gentle, almost child-like gaze and sophisticated layering of visual metaphor—evoking nostalgia, transformation and the passage of time. He exhibited widely across Venezuela, Colombia and Latin America, earning awards such as the Second Prize for the PSI programme at the Museum of Contemporary Art, New York in 1991-92. His paintings and drawings remain held in private collections and his legacy endures as a quietly influential figure in Venezuelan post-war and contemporary art.
