Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi was born in 1967 at Mt Allan. She is the eldest daughter of renowned artist Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, whose influence can be seen in her works. At the same time she was able to develop a unique style - bold in colour and composition. She is recognised as a culturally significant artist and her work has been exhibited in the USA and throughout Europe. She has also done commissions and installation works. She now lives in Melbourne with her family.
