Greg Creason, born in Flint, Michigan, honed his artistic skills at Kendall College of Art and Design at Ferris State University in Grand Rapids, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration. In the early 1990s, Creason’s career took him to California, where he worked closely with the renowned artist Thomas Kinkade at Media Arts Group. As Kinkade’s first apprentice, Creason developed a refined understanding of fine art, which later led him to establish his own gallery on Cannery Row in Monterey, California. In 2004, Creason began an influential collaboration with sculptor Richard MacDonald, assisting in archiving MacDonald's works and contributing to the production of his sculptures. This depth of experience eventually inspired Creason to move to New Orleans in 2009, drawn by its rich and welcoming art culture. His works, infused with this diverse artistic background, are now showcased at Kaikoa Art Gallery in Honolulu.
