"I find myself being drawn back to nature as much as possible. Hiking in Lake Tahoe, reading on my porch while the breeze blows through the trees & planning future trips near the water," she shares. A Perfect Day Lane's ideal day is a testament to her love for both art and family. "2 cups of coffee and early morning reading on my porch before everyone gets up," she describes as the beginning of a perfect day. After her morning routine and some time with her kids, she heads to the studio, where the magic happens. "Ideally, getting lost in paint while listening to a great podcast with my studio door open and my dog laying nearby," she reflects, capturing the balance of solitude and creation. The afternoon is often filled with the chaos of family life, but Lane finds joy in the simplicity of making dinner and spending time outdoors with her boys before an early night.
