I'M INSPIRED BY MINIMALISM, BOTH Aesthetically & as A WAY OF LIFE. While studying business consulting in grad school, I had an experience that opened my eyes where people could be successful as creative individuals. From then, I began to explore what had always been my hobby: painting. Becoming a fine artist allowed me to fully follow my own path and I am pleased to see on canvas what I feel inside - a refined peace and sophisticated appreciation of the many details that harmonize together to create a bigger picture. My art represents the complex patterns found throughout nature- delivered through a minimalist perspective. I call this combination DETAILED MINIMALISM, which showcases the power of my emotionally minimal lifestyle while acknowledging how much thought and energy goes into achieving that way of being. I am strongly influenced by the natural lines found throughout nature (water currents, rock strata, wind patterns in sand, wood grain, etc.) I find it fascinating that the exact same patterns can be found in rock that was eons in the making, as well as water currents that exist only for a few moments. The visuals of these patterns can equally be enjoyed for a moment, or upon closer inspection, offer a detail that can be scrutinized at length. My portable art influences my street art and my street art influences my portable art. And all are influenced by my pursuit of timeless sophistication. I've Enjoyed working on custom projects with interior designers, art galleries, art consultants, the surf/skate/snowboard industry, product designers, etc. from all over the world.
