Henry Dubreuil was born in 1948 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and died in 1994. Having begun his training with the Centre d'Art, he left to join the Foyer des Arts Plastiques in 1965. His first local exhibition was in 1968. He is best known for his paintings of Haitian life. He has exhibited in Haiti and the United States.
