Holly Terry is a visual Artist based on Kabi Kabi Land, Sunshine Coast. Exploring the depths and layers of the human experience, Holly’s work is resonant of her reflections and understanding of what it is to exist within this physical and spiritual life. While Holly’s large-scale works are characteristically playful, she is less interested in extensive narrative, Holly’s work is an energetic and visual representative of her internal landscape. Creative since childhood, Holly is a self-taught artist, having moved in and out of various artistic expressions throughout her late teenage years and early adulthood, exploring installation, sculpture, digital and illustration before solidifying a more formal, regular painting practice, in which she now practices full time. Having held her debut solo exhibition with Saint Cloche Gallery in 2022. Since then, she has showcased her work across Australia and internationally at Michael Reid Northern Beaches, Wentworth Galleries, Galleri Christoffer Egelund (Copenhagen) and Galerie Ground (Los Angeles).
