Artist Bio India Sachi (b. 2000, Ny, NY) graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2022 with the Florence Leif Award. Sachi has since held an active studio practice in the Hudson Valley and New York City. Artist Statement India Sachi works between painting and photography, exploring the intersections of visuality and the body. Interweaving personal and collective memory, Sachi constructs fabulative narratives, looking towards mythology, beauty, the natural world, and history.
