Born in Beirut in 1974, Ismat lived all her life abroad (Saudi-Arabia, Paris, London and Dubai). She returned toLebanon in 2018 and decided to follow her passion. Despite an education in Law & Human Rights, she became a self-taught photographer. Her aim today is to document and share her feelings and thoughts through narrative photography. Her firstexhibition Revive with Bloom in 2022 was a visual story through which a perception of revival is projected on imagesof abandoned sites of a forgotten city, Beirut and the hope for healing symbolised through photographic visionsfrom the beautiful nature in the Lebanon. The success of the theme of revival pushed her to continue the series which became her signature: overlays offlowers and elements of nature onto buildings, houses and other hidden treasure that need to be seen and heard asvisual stories. She has exhibited in Dubai, London and Beirut. She has also joined many group exhibitions and explored the optionof commissions as well.
