Jacob BarfieldMy art is merely an expression of my constant pursuit of knowledge andexperience in life. My whole life I have enjoyed creating new and original things.Starting in elementary school with an interest in drawing and design. I quicklybegan improving my repertoire of skills by learning anything that caught my eyewhether I believed it would help my art or not. This mentality allowed me to leadan enriched and experienced life that I am able to translate through my art. Usinga variety of original and traditional techniques that stem from many differentcrafts paired with a desire for technical perfection. I aim to create new/neverbefore seen art pieces or concepts that reflect upon me as an artist.When I’m designing a new piece or concept I do so with the goal of creatingsomething that allows the viewers a moment of escape and amazement. I try todesign pieces with enough complexity to promote the feeling of wonder whilekeeping it simple enough for anyone to enjoy. Using a variety of techniques andmediums I strive to come up with styles that have yet to be created with the endgoal of creating something unique and meaningful.The art I create is merely a representation of a moment in my life and as Icontinue down this journey in life my art will continue to evolve with me. I lookforward to the many things I have yet to learn and hopefully my art inspires others to feel the same.
