James Francis Gill (*1934) is an American artist and one of the protagonists of the Pop art movement. Already in 1962, the Museum of Modern Art included his Marilyn Tryptych into its permanent collection. At the peak of his career, Gill retired. He returned to the art scene around 30 years later.
