John is a semi-abstract contemporary artist born and raised in Arizona. He is heavily influenced by neo-expressionism, a late modernist movement from the late 1970's. He started showcasing his work in the Valley when he was only 16 years old, as a high school student, and has continued to develop into his own distinct style. John's work is typically made of acrylic and charcoal and is known for being comically bold as he uses his artwork as a personal journal, painting what he thinks and sees everyday.
