He studied and graduated with top honors from The Sichuan Fine Arts Institute being awarded the Grand Prize for Fine Art. He continues his membership in the National Artist's Association where he continues to be recognized as one of the premier artists of the association. Lapira paints in oil non objective abstract and abstract landscape pieces that are infused with color and reflections.
