Katrina Majkut investigates how social traditions impact civil rights, bodily autonomy, and representation. She was in the group show Get in the Game at SF MoMA, which will travel to the Crystal Bridges Museum in September 2025 and Perez Art Museum in 2026. In 2024, she had a solo show at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art. Selected exhibitions include over 40 colleges, Spring Break, Tyger Tyger Gallery, Bronx Museum Biennial, Every Women Biennial, Dorksy Museum, and Museum of Craft and Design (SF). Fellowships include Wassaic Projects, Forge, and Bronx Museum AIM. Residencies include Elizabeth Murray/Collarworks, MASS MoCA, and Project for Empty Space. Her artworks are in private collections such as the 21C Museum and Dana Farber. Majkut’s MFA is from SMFA/Tufts.
