Lauren Ridenour is an artist based in Charleston, SC.She has always had a love and passion for creating. It wasn’t until 2019 on a back-packing trip through Asia and Australia that she decided to pursue art full time. During her travels, she would spend her days studying strangers. She would quickly draw people in honest moments; reading on the subway, children playing in a park, a woman hanging up her laundry to dry. That's when she realized how we are all connected to one another. We are all one.She is inspired by people's similarities. Less became more. Through her work, Lauren hopes to portray the feeling of connection to one another. Her artwork is intended to be simplistic, imaginative, and expressive. She uses energetic and bold lines to channel inspiration and thoughts found in everyday life.
