“I grew up in Macon, GA in an environment of interior design. My mother sold floor coverings from home so I was always surrounded by her clients’ coordinating fabrics in different colors and textures. Drawing on this experience, I developed my unique style while studying fiber arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). My work is a combination of silkscreened contemporary designs and vintage botanical images embellished with cotton / metallic thread and oil pastel. The color palettes are driven by interior design trends so I am fortunate to have an ever changing source of inspiration.” Leslie Wilson earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Her work has been exhibited throughout Georgia as well as in several interior design publications including Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and House Beautiful.
