Born Loren Bobenchik from Carteret, New Jersey, she was classically trained attending “Du Cret School of the Arts”, located in Plainfield, New Jersey . There she graduated with a degree in Fine Art. She furthered her education by attending the “National Academy of Fine Arts & Design” and later at the “Art Students League”, both located in New York City . Loren is an award winning artist best noted for her bold still life paintings, vivid floral compositions, luscious fruits & vegetables and dramatic life drawings. She has won numerous awards in regional juried competitions, and has participated in national shows where her work has been highly regarded as well. Loren is also included in many private and corporate collections across the country.
