She spent eight years as a professional photographer and seven years working in publishing and design, experiences that deeply shaped her eye for composition, storytelling, and atmosphere. Painting, however, has always been her first love, and she now devotes her creative life fully to this medium. Her work is known for luminous color palettes, expressive brushwork, and a sense of movement that feels both grounded and uplifting. Whether painting florals, landscapes, birds, or abstracted forms, Lori’s goal is to create art that gently transforms a room, adding warmth, depth, and soul. Lori’s artwork is represented at Art on the Square Gallery in historic Summerville, South Carolina, where she enjoys connecting with collectors and sharing the stories behind her work.
