I found my passion for metal during a 1996 silversmithing class. I was further inspired with a lapidary class, learning stone cutting and polishing techniques. From there, it became an adventure with an infinite myriad of possibilities with metals, slabs of stone and individual pearls.My jewelry is hand built using rolls of wire and sheets of metal. The metal is manipulated, formed, soldered, drilled and impressed with designs, then united with one-of-a-kind exotic and common stones, gems and pearls, becoming a piece of art to be worn.My designs do not follow a theme, but flow from my imagination and a desire not to limit my creativity to evolve around a single aspect. Thus, some of my designs are created with materials not commonly used for jewelry and common materials used in a different manner. From timeless strands of pearls to eclectic earrings and bracelets, there is something for everyone to enjoy. With the full support from my family, that charges my creative energies, adds dimension to my thinking and cheers me on, I continue the adventure.
