BIO Born in Dallas, Texas, in 1966, Lorra Kurtz discovered her passion for art later in life. After moving to Georgia, she pursued interior design studies at The Atlanta College of Art, where an immersion in design led her to the world of painting—and her true calling. Since then, Lorra has been represented by multiple galleries, showcased her work in solo and group exhibitions, and has had the honor of exhibiting in a museum. In Atlanta, her work has been displayed at venues such as the Swan House, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and various designer show homes. From watching “Bargain Mansions” on television to seeing her artwork featured on the show, Lorra’s journey has been deeply fulfilling. Today, her work is held in corporate and private collections across the U.S. and internationally. When she isn’t painting, Lorra loves to travel, drawing inspiration from the world’s art, cultures and landscapes to fuel her next creation.
