Martica Griffin is a Nashville, Tennessee-based painter who creates both abstract and figurative works. Using her strong sense of graphics, texture, and color, Griffin develops a sense of depth in each painting that makes every viewing of her work fresh and exciting. Working in acrylic on unstretched canvas allows her easy interchange between painting and drawing. A native of Valdosta, Georgia, Griffin graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting. She has done post-graduate work at the School for Visual Arts in New York. Her work resides in various public and private collections.
