Growing up in Winston Salem, Mary spent endless afternoons at the kitchen table, painting with her sister. This practice sparked a passion for creativity that she pursued while studying at Clemson University. Now, she calls Charlotte, NC home, where she paints from her studio in her 1934 bungalow. She draws inspiration from the lush landscapes and verdant gardens within and around North Carolina. Her intention is to bring the joy of spending time outdoors into people's homes through her artwork. From the majestic mountains to the delicate petals of a flower, she is constantly awed by the beauty and power of creation.
