Mary Delmege is a local Arizona artist specializing in sculptural ceramics. She has been working in ceramics for much of her life, focusing on hand building for the past twelve years. Her artwork consists of hand-built vessels and objects. These pieces are often fired in atmospheric kilns with either wood or soda ash. Drawing inspiration from artists like Barbara Hepworth and Magdalena Odundo, Mary Delmege translates her creative vision into highly textural and unique three-dimensional forms.
