The Summer Seating Collection Growing up our house was filled with meaningful family furnishings passed down for generations. As a young child, I loved hearing my parents speak about the memories associated with these pieces. My father is from Puerto Rico and his stories would often be tied to large family gatherings filled with delicious meals and hours playing dominos. My mother’s would center around family members and their history of immigration to the United States from Austria and Ireland. Last summer we were gifted a family rattan dinette set and the collage ideas started swimming around in my head. The Summer Seating Collection is a nod to my love of all things vintage and sentimental. Cheers to beautiful craftsmanship and creativity being passed down from generation to generation. Meg Brief Bio Meg Britten is a mixed media artist whose colorful and illustrative style is both charming and unique. From silhouettes to mixed media abstracts, still life pieces and cut paper collages; Meg has a beautiful way of capturing a wide range of subjects. She has been painting/creating/cutting/ assembling for as long as she can remember. Art has always been at the forefront of her life whether as a teacher in an elementary classroom or developing marketing materials and campaigns for small businesses.
