Born in Belgrade in 1970 and raised in St. Gallen, Switzerland, Mischa Jovanovic navigates a cultural duality that defines his artistic perspective,. His foundation was built during an architectural apprenticeship with Adolph Blumenthal, where he was immersed in the art world through Blumenthal’s connection to gallery co-founder Ursula Hauser. Jovanovic further honed his practice at the New York Academy of Arts and the School of Visual Arts.
