Stefan, born in 2003 in Athens, Greece, I returned to Moldova, my parents' native village -Opaci. In 2013, I started studying fine arts at the Academic Arts Lyceum "Igor Vieru", the person that brought the love of arts in me and gave me the tools to develop my skills and knowledge, was and still is my teacher, Anatol Ghimpu, who is an honourable painter from our country. The last year's have been full with apprenticeships in and out of the country, where we tried to embrace and keep alive our native culture and traditions; I have also took part in many contests, international and nationally. My paintings mostly indulge in my love of our own past and culture. Thhe fascination I have with our traditions and history is what I try to promote to other people through my art. I behave sincerely and give my true self to each and every canvas, trying to give each of them a flicker of life, a beginning to a new story each time. "In art there is no originality, it's just an abberated concept created by people lost in the fear of falling, but there still is beauty."
