Muniba Mazari, also known as the "Iron Lady of Pakistan," is a prominent artist, a global motivational speaker, and a humanitarian. Muniba derives her strength from a tragic car crash that took place in February 2008 when she was 21, that left her paralyzed from the waist down. Despite facing immense challenges, she refused to let her disability define her and embarked on an extraordinary journey of resilience and determination. Her paintings give a message of hope and resilience, and she strives to give her clients the best of her artistic abilities. She believes in playing with vibrant colors and a flawless portrayal of true emotion. Her work speaks her heart and is all about people, their expressions, dreams, and aspirations: she paints hope with color. Although wheelchair bound, Muniba’s spirit and artistry know no bounds. In fact, she takes the agony of spinal cord injury as a challenge and has become even more determined to express her sentiments through her artwork. Her work has gained international recognition and has been exhibited in numerous prestigious galleries worldwide. She has been recognized with several awards and accolades, not least of which being named Pakistan’s First Goodwill Ambassador to UN Women. She has also been named among Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2016’s Media and Marketing category, she was featured in the BBC’s Top 100 Women in 2015, was presented “The Humanitarian Prize” by the Karic Brothers Award in 2017 in Belgrade, Serbia; and awarded the “Go Excellence Trainer Certificate” by the Canada Global Consulting & Training Centre Ltd. (CGC), in 2017. As an artist, Muniba channels her experiences and emotions into vibrant expressions on canvas, capturing the essence of resilience, hope, and empowerment. Through bold strokes and vivid colors, she invites viewers to take a journey with her through the depths of adversity, emerging with a renewed sense of strength and beauty. Muniba’s art serves as a testament to the human spirit's ability to triumph over adversity, inspiring others to embrace their own journeys with courage and grace. Each piece reflects her indomitable spirit and unwavering belief in the power of art to heal and transform lives. The only message she gives to the world through her artwork is that, “You are the hero of your own story and heroes never give-up!”
