Oksana Perkins began her photographic journey as a teenager in Moscow. Her first roll of film was taken with a Soviet-manufactured FED camera and developed in her tiny, amber-lit bathroom turned darkroom. Although her equipment and surroundings have changed, Oksana's love of photography has not. She has trekked across four continents and 36 countries to capture the spirit of some of the world's most fascinating places. From remote villages in Borneo, to the banks of the Ganges River, to cobblestone alleys in Eastern Europe, Oksana's work is a testament to her life as a deliberate nomad and lifelong explorer. She has lived and worked around the world, and is currently based in Beijing.
