MIED MEDIA ON SCULPTURE NORTH CAROLINA, USA Paul Rousso is an internationally recognized artist known for his innovative use of paper and sculptural illusion. Raised in North Carolina and educated at the California College of the Arts, Rousso draws inspiration from the contradictions of contemporary life, pairing meticulous technique with conceptual depth. His practice includes “painting with paper” collages and large-scale wall sculptures derived from imagery of currency, magazines, and consumer packaging. By manipulating scale and dimension, Rousso transforms familiar printed materials into immersive works that challenge perception and reflect on culture, value, and the human condition. Rousso’s work is held in private collections throughout North America, Europe, and the Middle East, with public installations across the United States.
