Peter Kuttner explores how color, shape, memory, and perception can transform familiar experiences into emotional spaces. His Cut-Out paintings distill recognizable forms into simplified silhouettes and gestures, while the adjacent Emergent Color works move further toward abstraction, allowing relationships between color, texture, and space to become the subject themselves. Across both bodies of work, Kuttner is interested in color not merely as a visual element but as a carrier of mood, memory, and feeling. A graduate of Ringling College of Art & Design, he has garnered recognition in Architectural Digest Magazine and has had his artwork featured in popular films and television series.
